Performance
Within the 2026 Tiguan is a standard 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that is eager to get up and go with its production of 201 horsepower and 207 lb.-ft. of torque. For this model year, Volkswagen listened to its fanbase that wanted slightly more speed by introducing the SEL R-Line Turbo trim to the lineup of this SUV. This version takes the aforementioned powertrain and outfits it with a larger turbocharger to enhance the performance enough to make 268 horsepower and 258 lb.-ft. of torque — a considerable jump in output compared to its base and mid-trim engine options. Not only is it a bit more responsive, but the optional AWD system’s phenomenal tire grip makes the Tiguan especially fun to accelerate from a full stop. Since power is directed to each wheel and you can utilize the optional Snow setting within the Active Control Driving Mode Selections, a precipitous Glen Burnie Bypass won’t be an issue.
Exterior
There are plenty of dashing color combinations you can choose to dress your 2026 Volkswagen Tiguan in. Avocado Green Metallic1, in particular, is a tone that has been admired by plenty of our customers after having been demonstrated within our showroom. Some buyers like to accent this hue with an optional Black Roof Package1, creating a unique look that is easy to spot in the parking lots of crowded stadiums or in a parking garage. “ Recently purchased a used vehicle from this dealership. I came in with the expectation of getting the vehicle at the dealer discounted price, that did not happen. This is the buyer Beware part, that they finally tell you after you see the numbers aren't lining up. Antwerpen volkswagen puts low jack and a paint protection on all the used vehicle whether you want it or not. Inflating the cost of the vehicle by $1450.00. You do have the option of not buying into the low jack subscription plan but the equipment is still on your vehicle and you still get access to the paint protection. The dealership itself and staff were pleasant to deal with, but this is a policy I feel should not be forced onto the customer. This is merely a way of getting more money out of people because your paying interest over time on that $1450.00 up charge that you did not ask for. So buyers Beware ”
